33. Movement with video lights and strobes
When shooting with a slow shutter speed, there are two main protocols to use according to the selected flash circuit setting. While the front circuit synchronizes the flash output at the beginning of the exposure, the rear circuit releases it at the end. Whether the strobes fire at the very beginning of the exposure or at the end determines the way we compose our subject and create the desired motion effect.
